Hello everyone, and welcome to Femmvoyage! I’m thrilled you’re here and I’d love to introduce myself, so you can get to know the person behind this blog.

NicoleI’m Nicole, a single mother to a wonderful daughter named Day. We live in a small rural village, but we travel all over the world, exploring both near and far. My love for travel started early; at 17, I moved to Fuerteventura, Spain, and I’ve been on the move ever since. I’ve lived in various countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, and spent a lot of time in the USA, Indonesia, Thailand, and Bali. My life has been a tapestry of different cultures and experiences.

I began my career in hospitality and even owned a couple of establishments, but soon discovered my true passion in high fashion. I had the privilege of working for Trudie Götz in Switzerland, the owner of 37 luxury shops in the high fashion industry. This incredible opportunity allowed me to present exclusive brands in Zürich, Gstaad, St. Moritz, and even Monaco, where I mingled with internationally renowned clients.

After many years abroad, I brought my passion back to the Netherlands. I ran the Lee Cooper store in Rosada, & Switzerland, and handled the problematic stores in England. Additionally, I managed the Scapa & Scapa Sport store in Rosada and was actively involved in organising the horse polo tournaments in Belgium and the Netherlands.

My career took a new turn when I became pregnant with my beautiful girl, Day. This shift didn’t diminish my love for exclusivity, but it taught me to appreciate the small joys in life. After the birth of my daughter, I founded Le BB, an exclusive baby and children’s clothing store with a large webshop.Nicole van der Korput

This diverse journey has enriched my life and allowed me to combine my love for high fashion, exclusive events, and meaningful celebrations, bringing a unique touch to everything I do, but it taught me also to appreciate the small joys in life.

The wanderlust never left me, so I decided to explore the world with my daughter while we still can. That’s how this blog was born—to share our experiences, from the wonderful to the quirky, and sometimes the mishaps, so you can learn from our adventures. We stay in luxurious hotels and resorts, but we also love rustic cabins, treehouses, and glamping sites, ensuring we experience and share a wide range of adventures with you.

NicoleMy hobbies include photography, decorating, sport and fitness,, walking with the dog Chaxx, capturing memories in this blog, horseback riding, and meeting new people and culture  I have a deep appreciation for good food and love dancing, whether under the sun or in the rain. Our adventures are diverse and thrilling—we love skiing, going on adventure holidays, discovering new places, climming mountains, river rafting, bud also enjoy a spa day I can indulge in high-end fashion, but I’m just as comfortable with messy hair, no makeup, and ripped jeans while running errands.

Above all, my greatest joy and hobby is my daughter, Day. I want to give her as many rich experiences as possible. Sometimes things don’t go as planned—I’m known to act impulsively, especially when animals are involved I always want to  touch and hold them—but I always have Day by my side, who stays cool and collected. It’s funny how the roles sometimes reverse between us.

So if you like join us on our journey as we explore the world, learn from our mistakes, and share our incredible experiences with you. We look forward to having you with us on this adventure!

Warm regards,

Nicole
